This love I have Is but math in disguise Waiting for me in mere surprise Adding time Subtracting mistakes Just say the word, that’s all it takes Multiplying my love Dividing my reason Only to make this a full equation But what will I get From a love so divine What’s on the other end of the equal sign Whatever I receive Is it complete Or do I stare back at the equation in mere defeat Mixed, perfect Fraction, whole I know there’s an answer yet to be foretold It will end up As an integer And that will be my final answer But whatever the case I’ll do my best Because I don’t have forever to take this test So I’ll have to find An answer real quick To solve some simple arithmetic Anders Lim |
